A salt spreader is a device that is used to apply salt to a snow covered area in order to melt the snow and clear the area for safe walking or driving. SnowEx salt spreaders come in many sizes and capacities including pull behind and bed mounted hopper systems with a capacity of up to 1.4 tons of salt, hitch mounted spreaders designed for salting smaller areas, and walk behind salt spreaders for salting areas such as sidewalks.
