There are some advantages to using an ATV than using a truck for snow removal. Other than an ATV is enjoyable, it is also easier to use. The next one is that it is much cheaper than a truck spreader unless you already have a truck because if not, you would really have to buy a truck. Another difference aside from the price is the size. The ATV salt spreader is obviously much smaller than the truck spreader.
The ATV is also easier to store, to take care of and to maintain than the truck spreader. Because the ATV is smaller, it can plow the smaller areas like gardens where the trucks cannot go to. It is good for plowing in narrow areas, sidewalks and lawns. On the other hand the truck is good for large areas like farms. ATVs include a tight turning radius and an incredible winter terrain capabilities. Even though an ATV snow plow and an ATV Salt Spreader may not be fit for commercially plowing large roads, its abilities in tight spaces make it an invaluable winter tool.
